Lee Fields is managing director of Advisory Services at Aprio. Since 2014, through Aprio’s ComplianceSuccess® Program, Lee and his team have partnered with ALTA, underwriters, title agents, closing attorneys and settlement firms to enable ALTA Best Practices compliance across the value chain through independent third-party testing and reporting, including CPA reviews, examinations, SOC reports and ISO 27001 certifications. Whether he is answering questions or providing feedback, Lee is recognized as a knowledgeable resource on ALTA Best Practices compliance.

Lee attends ALTA, underwriter and industry events around the country and frequently educates title agents on industry dynamics and the options available to them to become compliant with ALTA Best Practices. Lee was featured on the cover of the January 2016 edition of Accounting Today magazine discussing ALTA Best Practices compliance and Aprio’s approach to providing title agents and their mortgage lenders with a high level of assurance on compliance testing and reporting.

Paul Roberts, CFE, CICA, CRMA

Paul Roberts is the director of Aprio’s ComplianceSuccess® Program. Paul has 20 years of internal audit experience in various senior leadership roles. For 17 years with a major national title insurance underwriter, his primary focus was escrow accounting with respect to internal audit, compliance & operational auditing, risk assessment & ERM, process improvement, due diligence, strategic management, forensic investigations and SOX. His specialty is client service in the areas of internal audit, process improvement and compliance.

Paul was heavily involved at a senior manager level in the detailed transformation of a Fortune 500 corporate internal audit department in response to the economic crisis of 2008.  In this role, he led and executed implementations in the area of audit program design, risk management & internal control design, fraud response and process improvement on a national level that benefited shareholders, agents, executive management and the industry as a whole.

Paul holds the certifications of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA) and Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). A native of Dunedin, Florida, he attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and received his BSBA degree with a major in Accounting in 1995. Paul is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and The Institute for Internal Controls (IIC).

Michele Mosetti, CPA

Michele Mosetti is a client service executive for Aprio’s ComplianceSuccess® Program. She started her career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, followed by 10 years in private industry, working for companies in the health care and manufacturing industries. Since returning to public accounting nine years ago with Aprio, Michele has worked specifically with clients in the real estate industry.

Within the ComplianceSuccess team, Michele is focused on the delivery of high-quality customer service. She specializes in ensuring that each client’s ALTA Best Practices testing and reporting experience is simple and efficient. Michele oversees the ComplianceSucess delivery team and communicates directly with clients to keep them apprised of what to expect throughout the entire compliance process, from the initial proposal to delivery of the final report and certificate of compliance.

In addition, Michele is a thought leader on ALTA Best Practices compliance testing and reporting. She has been published in underwriter publications providing solutions to the common challenges title and settlement professionals face during ALTA Best Practices compliance testing. She also attends conferences where she performs consultations with agents and owners who have questions about the path to compliance.

Laura is program manager for Aprio’s ComplianceSuccess® Program. Over the past two years, Laura has been an integral part of the pioneering process for CPA reporting on ALTA Best Practices and works with clients to identify gaps in compliance and prepare them for testing. She frequently attends ALTA, underwriter and industry events around the country to educate agents and reps on what ALTA Best Practices mean for title companies and real estate law firms, as well as how to efficiently implement ALTA Best Practices. In addition, she is a frequent guest speaker on webinars focusing on compliance with ALTA Best Practices and related industry developments.

Laura is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and has lived abroad extensively. She attended the University of Alabama where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Master of Accountancy degree. She joined the firm as an audit associate in 2013 after completing her degrees.

Adam is a client relationship executive in Aprio’s ComplianceSuccess® Program. In his role, Adam is dedicated to building relationships and delivering high-quality customer service to title and settlement professionals as they go through the process to become compliant with ALTA Best Practices.

Adam is also responsible for managing relationships and education with state managers and representatives from the country’s top underwriters. Adam frequently attends and presents at ALTA and underwriter events across the U.S., and conducts webinars to further educate title and settlement professionals on current industry developments and the steps to ALTA Best Practices compliance.

Adam graduated from James Madison University with a degree in communications with a concentration on business management and dispute resolution. His professional and community involvement include:
